A few weeks ago, I had a time of prayer with some friends. After praying, the Spirit of God stirred me to go to the local College. I asked my friend, Nick to drive me there. I didn’t have an idea where we were going, but I knew for sure God had directed me to go there. On arriving at the college, the next prompting came, “go to the student center”. As we approached the student center, we could see two ladies having dinner. I knew right away those were the people the Lord wanted me to encourage.
On meeting them, I realized one was a believer. I explained what happened and encouraged her with the words the Lord had given me. I got to share the gospel with the other one, who wasn’t a Christian. She was open and willing to learn more about Jesus.
The morale of the story is simple, we have to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14 (ESV) states that “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God”. Are you willing to be led?
